(Sorry if this becomes a double post, feel free to delete the duplicate. I thought I posted this once already, but couldn't find it and didn't receive any notice, so posting again.)

I'm using Flying Sphinx with delayed delta, and delayed job worker at Heroku tends to get stuck with the delayed_delta job. The job gets locked in the DB but there's no output to log and it's never finished, and the job queue gets stuck as I have only one worker.

This can happen few times a day and is really not acceptable as whole background processing stops. Is there anyway to get any output or status of the delayed_delta job? Now I only see the locked_at and locked_by in the DB and no output to the log.

When I shutdown the worker and start it again, the delayed delta task goes through without problem. So this happens only occasionally, but then hangs the whole delayed_job.

I'm thankful for any advice!
