Hi Braz
At this point in time, Flying Sphinx is only available to a small list of alpha testers - and unless I'm getting confused between names and emails, you're not on the list.
Private beta will start soon (perhaps in a week or two), and maybe you can be a part of that (Heroku manage it, not myself - but if you want to leave your email address here in a comment, I can try to get you on the list).

Looks like comments are closed there. Where should I leave my email?
I have a client with an existing app using Sphinx. I'm looking for hosting.
Please try to get me on a list ASAP. I'd much rather use Heroku than
EngineYard!
Thanks,
Braz

Ah, no worries - the email notification of your comment has your gmail address, so I'll use that to be in touch and get you on the list as quickly as possible :)

When I attempt heroku rake fs:index, I get this error
rake aborted!
uninitialized constant FlyingSphinx

Any idea what caused that problem?

This project is acting a little strangely with a Gemfile for bundler, but
also with config gem code in environment.rb. I thought the gemfile meant
that I could remove the config gem code. I think thinking_sphinx was below
the minimum version (in the config gem line).
Anyway, I inherited this code and I'm dealing with multiple steep learning
curves.
Right now I'm trying to correct MySQL/Postrges differences.
Cheers
