and I see

The Flying Sphinx command failed:
  Class: FlyingSphinx::Commands::Configure
  Error: Uploading configuration failed

If everything looks to be in order, please try the command again. If the error
persists, please contact Flying Sphinx Support: http://support.flying-sphinx.com

when I try to run heroku run bundle exec flying-sphinx configure I see

The flying_sphinx CLI tool is now deprecated. Please use the standard Thinking
Sphinx tasks instead. (Thinking Sphinx tasks will now invoke the appropriate
behaviour for both local and Flying Sphinx environments). In this case:

    Oh, that's definitely not great!

    Can you let me know what the name of your app is so I can try to debug further? I'm not seeing any exceptions on my side of things, but clearly something's gone wrong somewhere along the way.

    Thanks for that detail :) I've just fixed the bug, so configuring will now work again (though do let me know if that's not the case for you).

    This was a bug I accidentally introduced a couple of days ago as part of some EU region improvements. The bug is fixed, and I'll think about how to ensure it doesn't happen again.

    Cheers

    Pat

    could you please help me with one more question? How I can setup sphinx
    search with cyrillic symbols? where can I add that settings?
