Does flying sphinx support Timestamp/Datetime Deltas?
Hi folks,
Was wondering if flying sphinx supports this feature, outlined here: http://freelancing-gods.com/thinking-sphinx/deltas.html
Looked through the past discussions and didn't see any mention of it, but thought it was worth asking.
Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan,
I’m afraid Flying Sphinx does not support datetime deltas. It’s not a request that comes up often, so the odds of support making it in at some point is pretty slim.
Generally I recommend people use real-time indices instead of deltas if at all possible, as that allows for direct record updates via SphinxQL. If you find real-time indices don’t fit your use-case though, I’m keen to hear why!
