I'm getting timeouts when trying to execute flying-sphinx commands.
Here's the command I enter:
heroku run bundle exec flying-sphinx start --app=myappname
And here's what happens:

Same thing happens with other commands like 'restart,' 'index', 'rebuild' etc.
Let me know if there is anything I can do to get these commands functioning again.

Sorry about that, the central Sidekiq worker decided it wanted a break from processing jobs. I've bounced it, the backlog's being caught up with now. Should be back to normal in 10-15 minutes.

Hi Pat,
We just ran a rebuild on staging and it took 5 seconds, but running it on
production took over 5 minutes. Any reason for the discrepancy? The command
we ran is:
heroku run flying-sphinx rebuild
Is there any way we can speed up the command? Our site relies on the
database so it is down for the entirety of the rebuild.
Let me know if there is anything we can do to speed this up on production,
and/or a reason why it would have such a discrepancy in time to execute
between production and staging. Is it just that our production server is
under load? We typically wait until there are 0 users on the site before
starting a rebuild, so theoretically there's nobody (or only a couple of
people) hitting the site while it rebuilds.

Is it the same dataset on both staging and production? Or is there significantly more data on production?
Also: could you confirm what the app's name is? I'll have a look at the generated configuration, see if there's any easy wins to get the speed to something faster.

I've manually started your Sphinx daemon... haven't yet found the cause of the problem (it's quite a tricky thing to debug). If it's possible to get access to your app, that'd be fantastic, but if not, I understand and will keep hunting for more details.
