was just wondering if there are any CPU limitations. (Websolr
limits how many queries per second can be performed). Rather than
have another scalability issue I'd prefer to find a plan with
unlimited queries as we only need to index a few hundred MB of
data.

Johntag:support.flying-sphinx.com,2011-01-05:Comment/130637032012-01-21T03:23:00Z2012-01-21T03:23:00ZAre there CPU limitations?

Hi John

There's no CPU capping for the search daemon on Flying Sphinx,
and there's no limits on the number of queries overall, nor the
number of queries per second. Granted, all listed plans are shared
servers, so there are other daemons, and that will impact on how
many resources are available for yours. If you find it's not
working as well as you'd like, we can talk about a dedicated host,
but I'd recommend trying it out (perhaps on a staging site first?)
to see if the standard setup works well for you.

Cheers
